What if Moby Dick took place in an odd distant future?

Based on the famous novel, my film Siren centers around a young man by the name of Ottley who wishes to set out for the great sea of clouds over 80 kilometers high. He arrives at a deserted port greeted by the silhouette of a great ship and huddled men. He does not spot the captain he was meant to meet before takeoff, but decides to board anyways. Who is The Captain? None of the crew will speak to him, but he will soon discover this is no average voyage.
